Birthday, Australia Day, Hottest 100
I turned 26 today, and with the advent of this new year in my life I decided to start a new blog. This will be a more everyday life type blog than the one I kept while I was overseas.
So, starting with life today! I'm having a low key kind of birthday: listening to TripleJ's Hottest 100 on the radio, cooking and BBQ'ing. We had a very Australia Day three-course lunch: marinated ribs, followed by beef sausages, followed by lamb cutlets, all cooked on the Weber and all enjoyed while chilling on the balcony in very comfy chairs.
We're having guests (just a few) around for dinner, which will also involve the BBQ. It'll be less traditional BBQ cuisine as our guests are vegetarians. However, I'm very much looking forward to mushrooms filled with pesto and topped with fetta BBQ'ed to perfection!
